Salesforce Inc. seeks Software Engineering LMTS in San Francisco, CA:

Job Duties:  Serve as a key member of a distributed team of specialists who build and maintain the Heroku Data products. Responsible for providing support for Heroku Postgres, Kafka, Redis and Cassandra. This support includes designing and developing new features for these products, maintaining existing offerings, improving operational efficiency and participating in on-call rotation. Provides mentoring and guidance to engineers through process and technical documentation as well as one-on-one code pairing sessions. Ability to lead medium to large sized projects. Telecommuting is permitted.

Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and three (3) years of experience in the field of software engineering or three (3) years of experience in the job offered OR Bachelor’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the field of software engineering or five (5) years of experience in the job offered. 

Special Skill Requirements: (1) Postgres; (2) Kafka; (3) Redis; (4) Cassandra; (5) AWS; (6) Terraform; (7) Linux; (8) Ruby; (9) Go; (10) Distributed Systems; and (11) Honeycomb.
