Duties include: develop new perception algorithms and models, and perform testing to extend capabilities of self-driving cars (SDCs); analyze autonomous systems performance and build software to extend the capabilities and operational domains; build libraries, tools, and frameworks to train and deploy learned systems on SDCs, and to track critical performance metrics; develop tools to summarize performance and to debug error cases; incorporate new methods for understanding how models perform, such as model visualization; analyze real-world data logs collected by SDC fleet sensors to understand performance over a variety of driving conditions; and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance Waymos simulation, big data, and machine learning technologies. MS (or foreign equiv.) in CS, Robotics, Sys.
