Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) Information Technology Division (ITD) is currently seeking an Application Developer Journey level. This position creates and maintains web, console and mobile applications used by WSDOT Maintenance Operations Division personnel. This position also creates and maintains SQL scripts and performs database modelling in support of the applications under the advice of Data Management Services. As the Application Developer, you will meet with the customer in order to specify what is required for new and existing applications. The duties include requirements gathering, assigning work, application design, SQL database design, application coding, testing, deployment and maintenance of the completed application in an iterative and interactive style of development. This position supports the mission of the Applications Modernization Team by continuously modernizing the applications it creates and maintains.
