Salesforce Inc. seeks Support Engineer (Tier 2) in Hillsboro, OR:

Job Duties: Assist clients in troubleshooting their custom code, integration, and implementation of Salesforce products. This involves debugging, troubleshooting, and ensuring issues are fully resolved. Develop and maintain technical expertise in assigned areas of product functionality. Assist clients with troubleshooting and providing analytical and problem-solving expertise to maximize their use of the Salesforce platform. Provide feature explanation and Salesforce coding best practices. Actively maintain and participate in job-related training activities. Research, document, and prioritize customer issues, leveraging internal tools and escalation teams as necessary, as well as prioritize and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. Create and curate knowledge content.

Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline OR Bachelor’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the field of software engineering/program analysis or five (5) years of experience in the job offered. 

Special Skill Requirements: (1) Object-Oriented Programming (OOP); (2) Web Architecture Principles; (3) CSS; (4) RDBMS; (5) SOAP and REST APIs; (6) Cloud Security; (7) Java; (8) SQL; and (9) HTML. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Education, experience, and criminal background checks will be conducted.
