Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) Information Technology Division is currently seeking an Application Developer Journey level. This position works independently and with others to analyze, design, develop, enhance, troubleshoot, test, and support internal WSDOT applications for the Environmental Services Office (ESO) such as the Commitment Tracking System (CTS), Fish Passage Site Management, Stormwater BMP Specifications (SWABS), and Wetland Mitigation Sites databases. These applications help WSDOT comply with federal, state, and local environmental requirements which include the National Environmental Protection Act (NEPA), Clean Water Act, Endangered Species Act (ESA), and many others. The applications, systems, databases and tools overseen by the Application Developer provide WSDOT environmental staff with the data needed to generate legally mandated reports. This position supports the mission of the Applications Modernization Team by continuously modernizing the applications it creates and maintains.
