CTL|Thompson, Inc. is seeking a full-time, CAD Technician Level I to work at our Denver, CO location.  This opportunity is ideal for a detail-orientated, quality-focused individual with a minimum of about 1 to 4 years of relevant experience preferred.  The candidate will provide general drafting for engineering projects and earth retention projects.  The candidate should expect a flexible schedule to complete deliverables in response to project needs.  Responsibilities include developing drawings and details for geotechnical investigations and earth retention projects based on Engineer input.  Analyze sketches, notes, and other material to complete drawings.  Support the drafting needs for the firm’s geotechnical, structural, and environmental services.  Interpret other structural, architectural, and civil drawings. Calculate quantities, dimensions, etc. 

Minimum qualification is a High School Diploma.  Associate degree or AutoCAD certification preferred.  Proficient with the use of Excel spreadsheets, and gINT a plus.  Working knowledge of AutoCAD is required.  Familiarity with Civil 3D is preferred.  Able to operate and maintain CAD equipment, plotter, and other drawing reproduction equipment.  Must be able to lift up to 75lbs.
