Job Description:

CTL|Thompson Inc. seeks an Environmental Scientist for its Colorado Springs, CO office.  The successful applicant will work on residential, commercial and municipal projects throughout the Southern Colorado region.  Time in the field and office will be required for this position.  Management of projects will be required.  The primary focus of this position will be to complete Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments and biologic evaluations.  Other certifications, including Asbestos Inspector in the State of Colorado and Air Monitoring Specialist (AMS), are helpful but not mandatory.

A minimum of 5 years’ experience with ESAs, wetlands, endangered species, and other environmental services is required.  The drive and ability to provide client-focused service is required.  Good writing and communication skills are essential.  A valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record in accordance with the company automobile insurance policy guidelines is required.  Additionally, applicants must have a high school diploma (or equivalent).  Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
