Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is currently looking for an enthusiastic engineer who has a passion for creative and innovative solutions for the state-highway transportation system. We are looking for an entry-level or mid-level engineer who wants to dive into all elements of traffic analysis and operations. The selected candidate will be responsible for performing technical tasks related to traffic and multimodal operations, as well as assisting in field site assessments. This position works to ensure the Region’s signs and pavement markings conform to requirements of the current MUTCD, and WSDOT policy and publications. Utilizing your operations knowledge, you will respond to both internal and external safety related concerns. This position plays a key role in contributing safe and efficient operations of state highways, as well as creating low-cost project enhancement ideas.
