Syringa Networks, Idaho’s leading fiber optic network provider, is hiring an experienced Network Engineer.  This position requires you to be located in Boise, ID or SLC, UT and work on-site. 

This position shall be responsible for designing and implementing LAN/WAN networks to support Layer 2 and Layer 3 transport services. Expertise in the area of transport (DWDM), Cisco routers, IP and routing protocols including BGP, OSPF, ISIS, MPLS, and LAN protocol operations are required.  The ideal candidate will have 5 or more years of experience in the above specialties, excellent communications skills, and a related 4-year degree.

 Responsibilities will include actively managing the design and maintenance of the network in all aspects, including LAN, WAN, and MAN networks, routers, switches, and network management servers.
