We work at the intersection of product design, engineering and improving durability by utilizing our software, VPS-MICRO®, to predict fatigue at the microstructural level. Our team of engineers work closely with clients (commercial and federal government research agencies) to blaze new trails that will positively impact the future in the areas of Additive Manufacturing, ICME (Integrated Computational Materials Engineering) and, probabilistic fatigue prediction. Do you want to be a part of this journey?
We are looking for engineers with a strong understanding of fatigue and fracture mechanics, knowledge of probabilistic methods & statistics, passion for research & development and learning new methods and skills. Qualified candidates will have the following:
  • Engineering graduates that have a M.S. or Ph.D. in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Material Science degrees are preferred).
  • Aptitude and demonstrated ability to write engineering code in Fortran, Python, C# is very desirable.
  • Knowledge of finite element modeling and analysis. Deep familiarity and experience with commercial finite element software such as ANSYS, Abaqus, Nastran will be an asset.
  • Technical report writing experience is a plus.
