Plumbing Engineer (San Francisco, CA): Design and document plumbing systems for buildings, including water distribution systems, sanitary waste and vent systems, water heating systems, and storm drain systems. Design specialty systems, including medical gas piping, fuel oil systems, grease waste systems, fire sprinkler systems, hydronic piping design, and the calculation of pressure losses in fluid flow systems. Coordinate with multiple engineering disciplines to execute engineering design and projects. Write reports for internal and external clients based on engineering designs. Review architect’s detailed drawings and contractor’s submitted designs for plumbing and fire protection systems. Present technical material in traditional and innovated ways for review by technical and non-technical audiences. Monitor trends and best practices in the plumbing engineering discipline.  Req’s Bachelor’s degr plus 4 yrs of exp.
