Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is currently seeking an experienced professional to serve as a Special Projects Engineer (TE4). This is a critical role that helps keep people and business moving by coordinating, planning, designing, inspecting, and administering small works contracts to support the regional highway system. This includes facilitating construction projects for Maintenance Operations (MO) which involves identifying needs, scoping solutions, designing, and delivering projects in support of the Maintenance Operations program and ensure regional needs are met. This Engineer position is the technical program specialist for minor enhancement/construction projects for WSDOT Headquarters.
