Salesforce seeks a Systems Engineering Lead at our Palo Alto, CA office located at 180 University Avenue, 94301. 1 position is available on this team. Job Duties: Develop and deliver configuration and deployment automation required for improving the functionality, availability, and manageability of our platform. Implement microservices architecture for streaming and data pipelining. Implement orchestration framework for deploying, managing, and monitoring applications on cloud infrastructure. Optimize jobs/platforms performance tuning.  Build infrastructure and application monitoring by gathering application and system metrics and implement tools for recoveries. “Infrastructure as Code”: Develop and deploy configuration for launching the infrastructure platforms and versioning as software source code. Automate network and security configurations. Perform code reviews, evaluate implementations, and provide feedback about potential tool improvements. Partake in an on-call rotation alongside the engineers. Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and four (4) years of experience in the field of software engineering/program analysis or four (4) years of experience in the job offered OR Bachelor’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and six (6) years of progressively responsible experience in the field of software engineering/program analysis or six (6) years of experience in the job offered.
