Job Description:

Join UDRI, a national leader in scientific and engineering research, serving government, industry and nonprofit customers. The Associate Project Manager is a full time benefit eligible position that offers health, dental and vision insurance, retirement, disability, tuition assistance, vacation/sick accrual and holiday pay.

Co-located with the Air Force Rapid Sustainment Office (RSO), this position supports a broad array of programs for sustainment activities. Specifically, this position will focus on marketing and communication activities, requiring strong organizational and communication skills. This will include tracking of schedules & deliverables, converting technical information into desired formats, and coordinating, executing, and developing metrics to track strategic outreach activities.


Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, journalism, or management.
Minimum 3 years communications or marketing experience.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational skills.
Self-motivated with the ability to work under minimal supervision.
Proficiency in the use of Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Office software – Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Familiarity with Sharepoint.
Attention to detail.
Due to the nature of this position, US citizenship is required.
Availability to travel required.

Preferred Qualifications

While not everyone may possess all of the preferred qualifications, the ideal candidate will bring many of the following:

3 or more years of communications or marketing experience.
Working knowledge of Sharepoint tools.
Familiarity with Infographic software, such as Visme.
Demonstrated successful experience developing communications/marketing/social media content.
Demonstrated effective verbal/written communication with clients at all levels.
Demonstrated successful collaboration within a multi-disciplinary team.
Familiarity with US military acronyms and offices.
Knowledge of UDRI and UDRI systems.

A federal court on December 7, 2021, issued a ruling that suspends the COVID-19 vaccine requirement that applies to federal contractors nationwide.
