Join our team! The City of Kentwood is seeking applicants for Engineering Technician in the Engineering Department.

The compensation range for this position is $24.00-$30.67, dependent on qualifications and experience. Reporting directly to the Engineering and Inspections Director.  Main responsibilities for this role includes assisting with engineering technical office and field work in support of City engineering activities.

This position is part of the  Engineering Department, which supports the community through its work with city infrastructure, which includes more than 150 miles of pipes underground and more than 155 miles of streets above ground. The department conducts engineering review of all Kentwood projects and developments. It directly supports operations such as street improvements and reconstruction, storm sewer services, public utilities construction, stormwater control, water pollution reporting, utility locations and plans, sidewalk repairs and right-of-way permits.
