The Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is eager to hire up to two experienced engineers to serve as our Chief Inspector(s). As the Lead Inspector, this position is expected to lead, mentor, and schedule team members to deliver a safe, reliable, and cost-effective transportation system for the public by inspecting all construction activities and ensuring contract compliance. The primary undertaking of the Lead Inspector is to successfully deliver all construction projects that are critical to WSDOT’s mission of keeping people and businesses moving by operating and improving the state’s transportation systems. By taking on this role, you are serving a key and vital function to the State of Washington.
