This position is a member of the N&P ETC Maintenance and Reliability group reporting to the Director of Maintenance and Reliability N&P.

This position is located in Loveland, Colorado, USA and not available for remote work.

What you will do:

  • Provide Reliability Engineering expertise for Nutrien’s Nitrogen chemical processing plant sites and Phosphate Mining sites while focusing on Safe, Environmentally sound, Predictable and Reliable operation of our sites.
  • Evaluate current asset care strategies for key rotating and turbo equipment critical to plant operation and reliability and identify synergies and opportunities to drive continuous improvement and leverage commonalities.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on steam and gas axial and centrifugal compressor and expander high-pressure turbo equipment.
  • Lead or participate in Bad Actor and Vulnerability identification, investigation, mitigation, focused on elimination of failures and reducing associated business impact.
  • Lead and participate in Failure Modes and Effects Analysis.
  • Provide reliability engineering expertise in improving Reliability Centered Maintenance Strategies and practices with emphasis on Condition Monitoring, Predictive Maintenance, and Precision Maintenance.
  • Provide boots on the ground (Troubleshooting and Technical support).
  • Support development and revision of Nutrien technical guidance and standards documents for Maintenance and Reliability.
  • Provide training, coaching and mentoring to site Maintenance and Reliability resources.

What you will bring:

  • BSc. in Mechanical Engineering
  • 5 -10 years of experience in manufacturing or production facility mainteance and/or reliability
  • 2+ years of experience in business systems development & maintenance
  • Knowledge and experience of Maintenance and Reliability work processes, best practices, relevant codes, and standards.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to travel to Nutrien’s manufacturing facilities across North America and Trinidad.
  • Ability to work independently or as a part of a team on projects and initiatives.
  • Ability to learn, teach and share information with peers, management, and users.
  • Ability to lead collaborative, technical discussions and initiatives with site and external asset experts.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office applications required.
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of EAM, SAP or other CMMS strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and expertise of data analysis and reporting required.
  • Demonstrated leadership and change management experience is an asset.
