Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is currently seeking to fill a non-permanent position on the Environmental Restoration Crew. This position will provide technical support to a resource management program that provides ongoing management, development, and maintenance needs to habitat restoration, fish passage, and wetland mitigation sites on public lands in the Olympic Region. In this role you will, assist the crew lead in the inspection, management, and maintenance of restoration and mitigation sites, apply herbicides and pesticides on restoration and mitigation sites to control and eradicate noxious weeds and interpret plans and maps for native plant installation. Our top candidate must enjoy working with their hands, working outdoors, and want to support environmental improvement projects.
