Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) Bridge and Structures Office is currently seeking a Bridge Engineer 1 (In-Training) in Tumwater, WA.  This position is responsible for the maintenance of the federally mandated bridge records. This position also performs new and modified bridge inventories and maintains bridge contract information. This Bridge Engineer 1 plays a key role in providing bridge information that supports the operations of the state’s transportation system.
Note: This is an in-training position that offers a career path and on-the-job training. This position allows you to progress through the Bridge Engineer field and achieve the goal class of a Bridge Engineer 1. Candidates will be considered as a Bridge Technician 1, 2 or Bridge Engineer 1 depending on their qualifications.
