Salesforce Inc. seeks Principal Solution Engineer in San Francisco, CA:

 

Job Duties: Create and deliver customized product demonstrations. Directly support the sales cycle of the Health Insurance Solution Engineering team by leveraging his advanced knowledge of the healthcare and health insurance industry and software applications to deliver customized Proof of Concepts. Perform customer discovery sessions, working with enterprise customers to uncover specific business needs and challenges. Drive the technology evaluation stage of the sales process and is an integral member of the Health Insurance Solution Engineering team, working as the key technical advisor and advocate for Salesforce products. Collaborate internally by coordinating and strategizing with cross-functional teams including Industry Marketing, Sales, Sales Enablement, Field Marketing, Product, Partner, and ISV teams to execute against customer initiatives. Evangelize the Salesforce platform by providing thought leadership at events including Dreamforce, Connections, Regional World Tours, and select third-party events. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices and various, unanticipated worksites throughout the United States may be required.

 

Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and three (3) years of experience in the field of software engineering/program analysis or three (3) years of experience in the job offered OR Bachelor’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the field of software engineering/program analysis or five (5) years of experience in the job offered. 

 

Special Skill Requirements: (1) Salesforce Industries including Vlocity and OmniStudio; (2) Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud; (3) Data Integration; (4) Oracle Analytics; (5) APEX, VisualForce, and SOQL; (6) Big Data; (7) Machine Learning; (8) Case Management; (10) Oracle Database 12c. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Education, experience and criminal background checks will be conducted. Telecommuting is an option.
