Geotechnical Engineer/ Inspector

We are looking for a full-time entry-level engineer who has an interest in the design of geotechnical design elements including foundations and retaining walls for a variety of design projects such as office, retail, education, industrial and multi-family residential. Candidate must be able to perform field inspections of geotechnical and foundation projects. Your responsibilities will include:

-Field inspect geotechnical and foundation elements of projects.
-Prepare daily inspection reports for fieldwork.
-Design and draft geotechnical and foundation elements under the supervision of a   Senior Engineer.
-Prepare engineering calculations.
-Prepare plans and specifications for bidding and construction.
-Participate in project coordination with the mechanical, plumbing, electrical, fire   protection, structural, civil and architectural disciplines.
-Prepare engineering studies and reports.
