About the role - you will:

• Translate user and marketing requirements to clear software requirement specification
• Provide technical guidelines, assistance and leadership specific to cloud storage technologies
• Bridge the knowledge gap between Marketing, R&D, Sales and Support. Serves as a subject matter expert within the organization for support escalations and organizational education
• Identify and work with ecosystem partners to generate solutions and reference architectures
• Coordinate and align product release cycles, timelines and deadlines against detailed feature maps and priorities. Manages and develops product backlog, as well as user stories backlog for implementation
• Act as liaison between the delivery team and business groups by providing clear cross-functional communication of development timelines, scope, and implications
• Help select and prioritize partners, toolsets and frameworks which will differentiate the product and contribute to its market acceptance
• Guide and manage quality and acceptance test processes, including alpha and beta programs
• Lead the creation of the complete and compelling product content for sales and support collateral, web, user guides, blogs and forums
• Monitor product performance and proactively identifies opportunities for product improvements

Your experience includes:

• Technical Product Management/Product Owner for Storage as a service offering (preferred)
• Product Management for an infrastructure as a service company in the storage area (preferred)
• Software PLM experience, specifically for software-as-a service (preferred)
• Understanding of modern data backup systems and solutions
• Understanding of customer architectures including hyperscale, hybrid cloud infrastructure, enterprise, cloud storage & software defined storage 
• Agile software development methodologies and tools for product ownership and backlog management

You might also have:

• Technical experience (software development, etc.)
