The opportunity
We are currently looking for an experienced Structural Engineer to our in-house team.  This is the perfect opportunity for experienced engineers with an entrepreneurial spirit to come on board. The position would involve structural engineering of a variety of projects including custom homes, additions, remodels, retail, restaurant, and a variety of tenant improvements and additions to existing structures.
What will you do!
Our engineers work on a variety of engineering design projects, while also assisting our sales and project management team with technical questions and other support.  Additionally, they will have the opportunity to work on a variety of standardization and improvement projects, and innovate new processes and tools for the engineering industry.  As a senior engineer, you will be expected to help mentor younger engineers and help with projects worked on by our consultant team.

What will you bring to the table:
  • Bachelors in Structural/Civil Engineering
  • Minimum 10 years of California residential experience
  • California SE is required
  • Proficient with AutoCAD for developing detailed designs
  • Mentor & assist junior engineers throughout the course of projects
  • Ability to multi-task and work efficiently on multiple projects at a time.
  • Advanced knowledge of building codes and application to design situations.
  • Making calculations and preparing reports, designs, drawings, concepts, and layout
  • Providing technical advice and planning or building regulations approval
  • Review designs and analyses.
