Job Description:

BEKO Technologies, Corp. is a manufacturer of all the ancillary components and system solutions associated with compressed air and gas and we are looking for an experienced Manufacturing/Process Engineer. The Process Engineer supports and further develops the sophisticated manufacturing process for BEKO’s membrane dryer line DRYPOINT M and desiccant dryer line DRYPOINT X. This includes for example polymer extrusion, steel assembly, CNC-based mechanical processes, quality assurance processes, casting and coating processes. Parts of the manufacturing processes are automated, while others are fully manual.

 

The detailed duties include:

  • Proactively manages improvements for production equipment and the manufacturing processes
  • Analyzes and develops solutions to optimize the manufacturing process regarding efficiency, quality and safety
  • Retrieves, analyzes, and reports production data
  • Conducts tests and monitors the process performance throughout production; Develops design of experiments to analyze performance changes based on parameter variations
  • Manages validation and documentation of process changes
  • Serves as engineering support to develop customized production equipment
  • Serves as engineering support to develop new or customized product from the product idea through the complete production process
  • Reviews and maintains manufacturing work instructions
  • Regularly communicates with the production teams to determine what their current processes consist of and collaborates to make adjustments accordingly
  • Develops and maintains FMEA documentation

 

Job Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience successfully working in a production environment in a similar position
  • Experience with diverse production operations required
  • Solid engineering ability to understand, analyze and resolve mechanical, electro-mechanical and fluid mechanical tasks
  • Familiarity with chemical processes preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to systematically approach and resolve production and equipment challenges
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and evaluate product and process parameters
  • Ability to maintain Allen Bradley and Siemens PLC-controlled equipment and automation directly or in cooperation with 3rd parties
  • Ability to troubleshoot, address communication issues, implementation and maintenance of SCADA systems
  • Familiarity with ladder-logic and HMI programming preferred
  • Good communication skills are required to be successful in this team-oriented environment (written and verbal)
  • Excellent knowledge of MS suite
  • Ability to organize and prioritize workload

 

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Process, Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical engineering required

 

Reports to:

  • Manager, Quality and Process Engineering

 

Physical Demands:

Sit, stand, bend and twist, reach, push, pull, look downward (continuously); walk, stoop, kneel (occasionally); squat, climb, foot controls (occasionally); lift/carry up to 50 pounds (occasionally); grasp and manipulate small and large items/equipment (continuously).
