Education: Bachelor’s Degree in civil or structural engineering (or other)
 
Responsibilities & Requirements:
·           Monitor the compliance of the projects to ensure that industry codes and practices are adhered to, quality assurance policies are followed, and performance standards are met. Analyzing data to write up reports and double-checking documents and design literature. Projects may include:
  • Design guide, and other technical guides (Application Engineering team)
  • Design tool (Application Engineering team)
  • White paper (Application Engineering team)
  • Technical Presentation (Application Engineering & Technical Service team)
  • Research and development on new products or projects (R&D team)
·           Perform quality control checks throughout all stages of the schedule to ensure deadlines are met, and the performance of the team is as it should be, to meet the high standards set for the projects.
·           Participate in the design, development, and delivery of application engineering projects, as well as providing assistance and support to other team members whenever necessary.
·           Will participate in bringing R&D projects through application engineering into market launch.
·           Network and collaborate with other engineers and professionals, both internally and externally.
·           Help other team members to fix or solve their complex problems. Mentoring.
·           Produce a progress report and presentation to update management. Must ensure that identified risks and potential issues are managed appropriately and assist in any required investigation, reporting, and action planning to prevent reoccurrence through shared learning.
·           Remain up to date with practice knowledge, technology, and market need.
·           Participate in the design, development, delivery, and evaluation of training materials for MTC, presenting difficult to understand concepts, and explaining complex technical issues.
·           Support the leadership team and staff to identify issues and trends that may impact the outcomes, quality, safety, and issues for compliance. Assist on resource management:
-     Recruitment & Training              - Assessing workforce performance
-     Setting objectives & guidelines; keep projects on track  - Assisting staff in difficult areas
-     Resolving issues to maintain an efficient workflow.
