Job Description:

Education: Bachelor’s Degree, Diploma in Civil Engineering or Business Admin.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor contracts and familiarity - with CCDC contracts preferred
  • All WorkSafe BC filing and monitoring
  • Prepare site generated RFI’s for distribution to Consultants
  • Track and log RFI’s, Update folder (digital and hardcopies)
  • Distribute RFI and SI response to trades
  • Assist Project Manager with Shop Drawing review and submittals
  • Mark up Project Manager and Site Superintendent drawings to note RFI’s and SIs
  • Receive and file incoming correspondence and deliveries
  • Keep track of documents including subcontractor bidders’ list and assignments
  • Coordinate & attend construction/trade meetings, record and distribute meeting minutes
  • Arrange project schedules
  • Assist in maintaining worker time sheet records, cost slips matching with invoices, weigh bills
  • Onboard project employee or site workers and track documentation
  • Create and print signs for staff
  • Appliance tracking
  • Assist with expenses and credit card submission, process billing
  • Support project staff with administrative tasks as required
  • Team player to interact with all trades, suppliers, professionals and owners
  • Directly communicate with project team members, including superintendents, vendors, suppliers
     

Requirements:

  • 2+ years’ experience in Project Coordinator role in BC
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, ability to interpret needs & express ideas clearly
  • Computer efficiency in Microsoft Office: office 365, tracking systems, and accounting systems
  • Basic bookkeeping or accounting skills preferred
  • Knowledge of Jonas Premier would be an asset
  • Results driven, self-motivated and sets high-performance standards
  • Able to prioritize and work under pressure to meet deadlines
