What will you be doing?

• Build backend infrastructure using Python/Django & PHP-yii frameworks
• Write APIs for usage in front-end & mobile applications
• Interface with 3^rd party APIs  (Eg. OpenEpic, SureMDM API, etc.)
• Improve database and query performances
• Fix penetration testing vulnerabilities (OWASP Top 10)
• Improve backend Infrastructure for better performance and scalability
• Manage Cloud infrastructure (VMs, containers, DBs, etc.)

 
Must Haves

• Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering or a similar field
• Detailed technical knowledge of database, application, and operating system security
• In-depth knowledge of and experience working in Python & MySQL programming languages
• Substantial experience working in the Cloud (e.g. Azure, GCP, and/or AWS)
• Experience working in Linux environment
• Two (2+) years of experience in an agile environment designing and developing business logic & data-related software of web-based applications

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience working with additional programming languages [including PHP]
• Familiarity or expereince working with Nginx
• Working knowledge/experience within Django framework
• Experience with network security and networking technologies and with system, security, and network monitoring tools
• Experience working in the health care or similarly regulated industry
