Job Description:

Outstanding opportunity to join a global chemical leader as a part of the plant management team. The Plant Maintenance Manager provides Strategic Ownership of the Maintenance/ CMMS / TPM programs and development of the team. Requires prior success in driving change and continuous improvements for stability of the operations and equipment reliability. Client offers excellent compensation, benefits, bonus package.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

--- Provide leadership to ensure the success and improvement of the maintenance work process.

--- Establish goals, objectives and key performance measures and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

--- Manage adherence to operating, capital budgets and change management policies consistent with corporate and global competitive requirements. 

--- Ensure that team members receive appropriate education and training to meet the capability requirements of their job.

--- Share process related information to leverage best practices and participates in site related management activities.

--- Contribute to the manufacturing plan to integrate into site activities.

--- Manage maintenance activities in safe and environmentally acceptable manner.

--- Implement actions from SHE plan and ensure compliance.

--- Implement/Monitor contractor safety

--- Enforce management of change procedures

--- Sustain a trained workforce

--- Execute JSA, incident investigation, critical equipment inspection compliance including over dues.

--- Develop and report department KPIs

--- Prioritize maintenance activity based on SHE, operational and facility requirements

--- Responsible for purchasing activities within the maintenance department

--- Knowledge of CMMS operation and implementation to include critical spares listings and inventory management.

--- Support plant and corporate initiatives as outlined in the manufacturing plan.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

--- BS Mechanical Engineering degree with 5+ years experience in Maintenance/Facilities Management in chemical, bulk pharmaceuticals, food additives, or related process plants.

--- Extensive background in hazardous processes (OSHA 1910.119), CMMS, TPM, RCA, PM and Maintenance Work Process.

--- Knowledge and understanding of cGMP, ISO, and regulatory compliance. 

--- Ability to work in the USA without sponsorship, now or in the future.
