If you are a self-motivated, strong communicator, capable of working in a diverse and growing environment, we are looking for a skilled DATABASE ENGINEER to join our engineering team and assist in increasing our database scalability to support more than 100,000 clients! As part of an agile development process, you will iteratively improve the database used in our applications.

What will you be doing?

• Work on optimizing Queries
• Debug and Improve database performance
• Improve database schema/architecture for 100x scalability
• Work on backend (Python-Django).
• Improve data security
• Manage cloud infrastructure

Must Haves

• Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering or a similar field
• Four (4+) years of experience in database administration, architecture, performance improvement, tuning, and normalization
• In-depth knowledge of Structured Query Language (MySQL, PostgreSQL)
• Experience working in the Cloud (e.g. Azure, GCP, and/or AWS)
• Experience working in Linux environment
• Two (2+) years of experience in an agile environment designing and developing business logic

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience working with programming languages [including Python and PHP]
• Experience in NoSQL
• Experience working in the health care or similarly regulated industry
