Salesforce Inc. seeks Principal Member of Technical Staff in Burlington, MA:

 

Job Duties:  Architect, evolve and securely implement services in first party infrastructure and public cloud and have the opportunity to work with Kubernetes, Istio and many other ‘cloud native’ technologies. Work in a full service ownership/DevOps model and deliver on full life cycle software components for our mission critical, enterprise SaaS web applications. Provide continuous integration, unit tests, and functional automation. Define sub-component requirements and accurately forecast project effort. Provide attention to detail and a commitment to delivery of high-quality, stable deliverables. Work seamlessly as part of a multi-site, multi-cultural, development and testing team. Continually evangelize Scrum and an Agile development processes. Evolve and maintain a mission critical layer of services which help underpin our core eCommerce platform. 

 

Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and three (3) years of experience in the field of software engineering/program analysis or three (3) years of experience in the job offered OR Bachelor’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the field of software engineering/program analysis or five (5) years of experience in the job offered. 

 

Special Skill Requirements: (1) Agile (Scrum); (2) NodeJS; (3) Kafka; (4) Visual Studio Code; (5) Docker and Kubernetes; (6) Rally; (7) Jenkins; (8) Grafana; (9) Vault; (10) OAuth 2.0; (11) New Relic; (12) AWS.
