This position will support advanced manufacturing programs for sustainment activities. The position will utilize gages and program/operate a Coordinate Measurement Machine (CMM) to inspect metal and polymer parts in a low volume, high mix advanced manufacturing environment as well as develop process documentation for use by customers.

Minimum Qualifications:
–A minimum of 5 years directly related experience with manufacturing, inspection, quality control or quality system development/management in a manufacturing environment.
–Experience creating and running inspection programs using PC-DMIS
–Experience operating a Coordinate Measurement Machine (CMM)
–Experience with GD&T
–Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and computer generated reports
–Effective organizational skills
–Demonstrated successful collaboration within a multi-disciplinary team
–Effective verbal communication skills with team members at all levels
–Ability to relate to, and motivate work associates in the spirit of collaboration, relative to correcting mistakes and preventing them in the future
–Attention to detail
–Due to the nature of this position, US citizenship is required

Preferred Qualifications:

While not everyone may possess all of the preferred qualifications, the ideal candidate will bring many of the following:

–Experience programming and operating a Hexagon 7.10.7 SF CMM
–Holds certificate in Quality Control or willingness to obtain through this role
–Familiar with various manufacturing processes such as casting, CNC machining, forging, heat treat and additive manufacturing for metals and/or plastics
–ERP or MRP software experience
–Non Destructive Inspection experience
–Experience with UDRI procedures and processes
–Familiarity with lean concepts in a manufacturing environment (5S, Lean, Six Sigma, etc.)
