WSDOT’s Maintenance Operation division is currently seeking to fill multiple Transportation Planning Technician 1 internship positions in the Olympia and Tumwater areas. These are unique opportunities for currently enrolled students or recent graduates looking to apply their classroom training to real world scenarios. The Transportation Planning Technician 1 interns will support WSDOT managers statewide with small-scale, short-term research projects that involve collecting and analyzing data, conducting field surveys, and literature searches. These positions will assess data to determine results and report findings and conclusions in writing, web-based applications, and presentations.
