Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is seeking a motivated engineer with strong technical, engineering, and interpersonal skills to fill the role of a Transportation Engineer 3 for the Interstate Bridge Replacement (IBR) program. This bi-state, multi-agency program is currently advancing pre-design, preparing to enter environmental analysis and development of a Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement.  As of March 2022, the two states have allocated $90 million toward program development.

This unique opportunity will provide varying experience and potential for growth. You will be responsible for contracts and agreements under the IBR program, working with multiple agencies and consultants to develop and manage such work as agreements and consultant contracts, scopes of work, estimates and CPM schedules. Other work includes management of consultant engineering staff that will support the NEPA process. By completing accurate and timely work in this position, it moves the IBR Program forward without delay and closer to completion, which will improve the State's transportation system vital to our communities.
