Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) Bridge & Structures Office is currently seeking a Bridge Engineer 5 to serve as the Specifications and Estimates Engineer in Tumwater, WA. This position is responsible for preparing specifications, cost estimates, and construction working day schedules for all types of transportation structures and delivery methods including Design Build and Design Bid Build. The Specifications and Estimates Engineer participates in VE/CEVP/CRA workshops and Region’s PS&E review processes and meetings. This position supports the WSDOT's mission in providing and supporting safe, reliable, and cost-effective transportation options to improve livable communities and economic vitality for people and businesses by preparing and accurate estimates and complete PS&E packages to enable regions to program and construct transportation improvement projects in a timely and cost-effective manner.
