Stentek Mechanical Design, Inc. provides engineering resources across a variety of industries including airport Automated Baggage Handling Systems (BHS). We have more than 25 years of experience and have worked on BHS designs in dozens of airports around the world. This position requires a hands-on individual who will create 3D models and 2D drawings for the design, manufacturing, and installation of airport Automated Baggage Handling Systems. An ideal candidate will have previous education in mechanical designs broadened by experience in the material handling industry. DIRECT AUTOMATED BAGGAGE HANDLING SYSTEM DESIGN EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED.

Qualifications:

• 3-10 years of experience primarily in mechanical conveyor systems
• Thorough understanding of BHS conveyor systems including:
  • Drive/End/Bed Sections
  • Side guards
  • Floor / Hung supports
  • Platform, crossovers, ladders
• AutoCAD (2D & 3D) required (3-10 years)
• Revit preferred, but not required
• General Microsoft Office & data share experience

Job duties/responsibilities include:

• Create 2D drawing packages including plan/elevation/detail views
• Create and manipulate 3D models
• Compile Bill of Materials and project submittal data

Part-Time (20-30 hrs/week)
Remote Contract Position (or open to direct W2 employment) 

Pay $35-$42/hour (1099 Contract Rate)
