Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) Headquarters Local Programs Office is currently seeking a Transportation Engineer 4 to serve as the Project Development Support Engineer in Olympia, WA. The position supports WSDOT’s mission of providing safe, reliable, and cost-effective transportation by providing project development support to cities, counties, transit organizations, port districts, tribal nations, and other agencies across the state in assisting them to deliver federal and state aid projects. As the Project Development Support Engineer, this position acts as a statewide technical program specialist that supports the project development process during the preliminary engineering, design, right of way and construction of transportation improvements to ensure the agencies meet all technical, legal, and procedural requirements.
