Job Description:

UDRI is a national leader in scientific and engineering research, serving government, industry and nonprofit customers. This is a full time benefit eligible position that offers health, dental and vision insurance, retirement, disability, tuition assistance, vacation/sick accrual and holiday pay.

This position is located in Dayton, OH supporting the multiple facilities and technologies within and across UDRI. The candidate would manage team building, culture, and training initiatives for the division while supporting hiring managers with onboarding, outreach, and candidate sourcing.
This position will perform the following duties:
- Manage, perform, and improve division employee onboarding and departure processes.
-Provide outreach support to increase applicant pools for open positions across UDRI.
-Participate in outreach events, talking to potential hires and distributing promotional material.
-Support team building activities, events, surveys, and programs to enhance morale and employee satisfaction.
-Create and maintain required division/UDRI records, including training initiatives.




Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in relevant field OR at least four years of related experience.
At least two years of directly related experience in talent recruiting or sourcing.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Experience in leading processes associated with employee engagement.
Effective verbal communication skills with team members at all levels.
Working knowledge of the Microsoft Suite of business software, including Excel.
Effective business writing skills with the ability to develop effective correspondence.
Ability to establish, manage, and leverage relationships with internal and external partners.
Capable of working in a fast paced, team environment.
Due to the nature of this position, US Citizenship is required.

Preferred Qualifications

While not everyone may possess all of the preferred qualifications, the ideal candidate will bring many of the following:

Master's Degree in applicable field.
Three or more years of directly related experience in talent recruiting and/or sourcing.

A federal court on December 7, 2021, issued a ruling that suspends the COVID-19 vaccine requirement that applies to federal contractors nationwide.
