Job Description:

Are you interested in working for UDRI, a national leader in scientific and engineering research, serving government, industry and nonprofit customers? Our Power & Energy division invites qualified candidates to apply for our Associate RF Engineer opening!

UDRI is currently seeking entry-Level RF Engineers to support full-lifecycle execution of programs and internal investment work with our electronic warfare (EW), electromagnetic interference (EMI), and electrical design area. Due to the diverse nature of our work, we can accommodate team members with varying technical backgrounds. The candidate will support the development of advanced electrical aerospace systems in both research and field environments. This position are working closely with our Systems Engineering teams in Florida, California, Ohio, and international offices.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering
Enthusiasm for working with and building RF/microwave hardware in a dynamic team environment
Very strong interpersonal and communication skills
A detailed working knowledge of electromagnetics, antennas and microwave design

US Citizen 
 


Preferred Qualifications

While not everyone may possess all of the preferred qualifications, the ideal candidate will bring many of the following:

2+ years of electrical engineering experience
Experience with digital engineering/digital twins
Experience with DoD / government contractor
Experience working with a geographically diverse engineering team


Special Instructions to Applicants

A federal court on December 7, 2021, issued a ruling that suspends the COVID-19 vaccine requirement that applies to federal contractors nationwide. With this development, the University will pause any enforcement action against employees who have not complied with the requirement to be fully vaccinated by Dec. 8, 2021 or to have requested an exemption to maintain their employment status.
