Job description

Bacik Group is searching for a Senior-Level Mechanical Engineering Technician to support our contract at the FAA William J. Hughes Technical Center located in Atlantic City, NJ. This position regularly reports to the Bacik Group on-site Task Area Lead / Program Manager.

Duties

The technician would be responsible for overseeing and inspecting corrective and preventative maintenance on mechanical and HVAC equipment throughout the Tech Center campus, as well as inspection of system operations, scope of work development for mechanical projects, and inspection of project work. Ideally, the candidate would posses knowledge and experience (at least 5 years) in the following areas:

• Modern air-cooled chillers
• Modern water-cooled chillers
• Dedicated Outdoor Air System
• Commercial and residential HVAC equipment
• Installations & Commissioning of HVAC equipment
• HVAC Controls/Building Automation System (BAS)
• Commercial Plumbing Systems
• Compressed Air Systems

Qualifications:

• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
• Must be able to obtain FAA Suitability / Public Trust Clearance
• Applicable degree preferred but not required.
• 5 years minimum relevant experience.

Work Schedule:

• Ability to support 8 hour shifts ranging from 6:00am to 5:00pm. 40 hours per week.
• Ability to work off shift, holidays and weekends when necessary
