Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is currently seeking to fill three Transportation Engineer 2 positions to support the Eastern Region Construction program in Spokane, WA. These positions will assist the Office Engineer and construction teams in processing WSDOT and contractor construction documentation. In this role you will be responsible for by the independent review, processing, and transmittal of construction and material documentation, and construction close-out activities. These positions include occasional construction inspection and materials sampling and testing duties. This support is critical in helping make certain construction contracts are administered according to federal and state requirements thus ensuring that transportation dollars are spent efficiently and appropriately, maximizing the benefit to taxpayers and the community.
