Job Description:

JOB TITLE	Chief Mining Engineer
EDUCATION	Higher technical (mining) education;
RESPONSIBILITIES	Key responsibility: organize the development of a strategic mining plan for the Project: Optimization of the final field outline, optimization of intermediate field outlines; Preparation of several phased mining plans until the end of field development; Justification (technical) of the choice of mining equipment for the mining of deposits by each stage, calculation of the necessary equipment; Preparation of the financial model for each variant and selection of the optimal solution (according to the specified conditions) Organization of works on preparation of the initial data from the related services (mechanics, technologists - concentrators) for preparation of the strategic production plan and assessment of operating costs. Drawing up design specifications; Development and approval of design solutions for mining operations; Work with design, research institutes, contractors on research and design and survey works, on issues of forward planning and mining operations; Operational planning, coordination, organization and control at the enterprises; Operational planning, coordination, organization and control at the enterprises; Control over compliance of the planned scope and direction of mining works with the adopted programs Participating in the budgeting of project works Control over timely changes in project documentation.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES	Knowledge of mining optimization and strategic planning software: Surpac or MineSched or Micromine or DataMine; Experience in project reorganization in the mining industry; Experience in organization of production facilities (mines and mines) Experience in team management; Knowledge of ore production and processing technologies, organization of design works, budgeting procedure, methods of feasibility study of field development efficiency;
WORK EXPERIENCE	7 years of experience in senior engineering positions in mining, concentration plants;
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS	Experienced user of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Power point, MS Project), Primavera etc. Knowledge and mastery of AutoCAD and specialized designing softwares, NawisWorks English at least Intermediate level; Highly organized, responsible, attentive, stress-resistant, ability to make optimal decisions in non-standard situations; Ability to work under strict time constraints.
WORKING CONDITIONS	Relocation to Uzbekistan (Almalyk/Tashkent); Employment contract for one year, with annual renewal according to the legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, until December 2024; Labor leave in the amount of 22 working days; Compensation of expenses for one-time economy class airfare from the place of residence to Tashkent; Reimbursement of expenses for hotel accommodation in Tashkent for 5 days during the relocation period. Compensation of expenses for the flight to the country of residence and back during the period of work leave.
