Job Description:

Consult on the design and execution of computer aided operational and tactical level defense systems evaluation simulations for a range of participants from senior military / executive service leaders, operational tacticians, and science and technology concept owners. Consult on the design, execution, and delivery of analytic tasks associated with defense systems evaluations, simulations, and tabletop exercises, including the shaping of objectives, crafting of evaluation constructs, authoring of scenarios, facilitation of participant discussions, overseeing logistics, and authoring of after action reports and briefings. Other tasks may include providing program/project management and AF liaison support for technical projects. The work will primarily support government customers, but some commercial enterprises may be supported by this position as well. Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and 3 years’ experience in USAF or DoD operational or logistics planning/policy development
Fully proficient with Microsoft Office products
Self-motivated, independent worker with impeccable judgment.
Due to the nature of this position, US citizenship is required. Ability to obtain a secret clearance within 1 year of hire
Willing to travel


Preferred Qualifications

While not everyone may possess all of the preferred qualifications, the ideal candidate will bring many of the following:

Bachelors in an engineering discipline or Operational Research
Master’s in an engineering discipline, Operational Research or related field
5+ years’ experience in USAF operational or logistics planning/policy
5+ years’ experience in DoD Operational Research of related field
Thorough understanding of the AF and DoD operational planning processes
Demonstrated practical policy development experience
Demonstrated experience with planning and executing workshops, seminars, or wargames
Demonstrated exemplary technical and persuasive writing skills
Demonstrated experience (1+ years) in developing/organizing technical proposals and reports
Demonstrated experience with managing budgets
Demonstrated experience with supervising personnel
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

A federal court on December 7, 2021, issued a ruling that suspends the COVID-19 vaccine requirement that applies to federal contractors nationwide.
