TOMI Environmental Solutions Inc. is looking for a full-time Project Engineer, based out of our Frederick, Maryland office. The Project Engineer will be working with TOMI technology and be versatile on each project depending upon customers need and specification.  This individual will coordinate and manage the development of Custom Engineering System (CES) project plans and design.  In addition, their analytical ability is a valuable asset, while their communication skills can make a difference for customer relationships.  We are a casual, fun, and high-paced work environment! Would you like to be part of cutting-edge technology that uses cold-plasma and is dedicated to making the world a safer place?

Full-time Project Engineer
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Facilitates and contributes to the development of CES project plans and designs.
  • Collaborates with Technical Support staff to create a strategic action plan and cost estimates of materials, time, labor, and other resources required to complete the project.
  • Identifies customer requirements in contractual documentation and ensures the project fulfills those requirements.
  • Recommends and/or analyzes materials, equipment, and practices used in the project.
  • Collaborates with customers to design projects to user specifications.
  • Identify any issues and collaborate with customers and team to alter the project if problems arise.
  • Analyzes equipment, systems, and processes to identify modifications to improve efficiency, increase quality, and reduce costs.
  • Supervises CES projects and prepares cost and progress reports for management.
  • Assists TOMI Corporate – Technical Support Division on service projects and troubleshoot equipment as needed.
  • Become proficient with the proper and safe use of all company products/technology.
  • Supports development of new products to advance the company’s portfolio of technology.
  • Ensures compliance with codes, guidelines, best practices, and policies.
  • Other responsibilities as requested.
 
Education and Experience Required:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering required
  • 8 - 10 years of experience in Engineering field, systems design and Project Management required
  • Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters
  • Professional Engineer license is highly preferred
