Position: IT Engineering Specialist - Power Systems/Energy Management (IT Specialist 1)
Location: Remote/hybrid - Alhambra, CA

Responsibilities include:
•Work closely with Power System Network Modeling team to perform analysis and update Modeling parameter associated with transmission and distribution power system on the control system platform.
•Support team leader to interface and collaborate with various clients to collect data and perform testing.
•Maintain a safety conscious work environment by following Edison safety protocols and safe work practices in addition to providing support with all other duties.
 
Required Skills/Attributes          
•Demonstrated knowledge of Energy Management System, GE Positive Sequence Load Flow.
•Demonstrated Knowledge and applied experience in the implementation of Electrical Power System Network Modeling.
•Demonstrated excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to explain complex technical concepts in simple terms to both technical and non-technical personnel, including internal and external customers.
•Demonstrated knowledge using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, VBA and Oracle Database.
 
Desired Skills/Attributes             
•Experience in Energy Management System, Substation Automation, Distribution Automation, etc.
•Engineer-In-Training (EIT) License in Electrical Engineering
