We are seeking a Construction Intern to work full time during the summer. This internship program gives Interns hands-on project work experience as well as the opportunity to learn about all facets of the building industry. We are looking for a flexible, self- starter who likes to work as an individual as well as with a team. 

General Responsibilities:

• Assisting with variety of construction tasks including preparing schematics, plans and other drawings in accordance to project requirements and building codes. Assisting in the review and coordination of design documents with architecture and engineering disciples.
• Working closely with project engineers to assist in the review and coordination of submittal review and approval process, subcontracts, purchase orders, and change orders.
• Assisting in the review, processing and tracking of vender submittals. 
• Assisting project engineers with oversight of projects in construction.

Requirements:

All candidates must be proficient in Microsoft Office products. Candidates must have strong communication skills and the ability to work under pressure. Prior work and internship experience is required.
