Kitsap County DCD seeks an ENGINEER 1 to join our team of professionals. This unique opportunity allows individuals with at least four years of related experience to get their foot in the door and start training for the Engineer 1 level.

Under the direction of the assigned supervisor, the Engineer 1 incumbents perform specialized, complex technical field and office engineering work for residential and commercial projects that requires advanced knowledge and skills in the technical review of engineering designs related to stormwater, grading, erosion, solid waste, traffic mitigation, road standards, and utilities for land development projects.  

DCD focuses on enabling and assisting our Kitsap residents in building affordable, structurally sound, and environmentally conscious developments in the Kitsap Community.
