We are looking to hire a skilled maintenance engineer to join our global engineering team. As a maintenance engineer, you will be required to install new equipment, conduct routine maintenance, and troubleshoot equipment faults on site. You may also be required to remove old equipment and train staff on equipment operating procedures. To ensure success as a maintenance engineer, you should have extensive knowledge of industrial equipment, the ability to work well under pressure and demonstrate high-level problem-solving skills. An outstanding maintenance engineer should be able to service, troubleshoot, and repair equipment without causing extended equipment downtime. WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR
• Support & Lead the design and specification of equipment, processes and utilities for projects.
• Manage & Create process and procedural development, improvement, and revisions to include project documentation such as technical/functional specifications.
• Leads the scheduling and participates in the execution of the regular maintenance activities as prescribed in maintenance tasks. Ensure the maintenance technical documentation is available and up to date.
• Identify equipment improvements and purchases as needed to meet company objectives.
• Drives performance through Loss elimination and continuous improvement Breakdown elimination. Ensures standard progressive maintenance monitoring systems.
• Understand, support, and drive all Maintenance processes, such as training, monitoring, procedural revisions, and corrective action processes to ensure effective work practices.
• Works together with the team and maintenance group in order to analyze and execute the maintenance tasks to ensure the assigned line(s) are meeting the expected performance.
• Routine Coordination and Supervision over assignments and activities that align with company goals.
• Builds the capability of the team on technical troubleshooting and technical mastery through coaching and delivering on the job training. Ensure the completion of the established training plan.
• Routinely collaborates with other areas of the Company.
• Ensures full compliance with local legislation, company policies and practices and the IMS. Adhere to all Quality, Environment, and Health, Safety, and Security (QEHS&S) rules, policies and practices.
• Performs duties under limited supervision according to cGMP and Standard Operating Procedures.
• Works within team and department to identify and support improvement opportunities.
 
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
• Minimum Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering or 5+ years relevant engineering experience.
•Minimum Bachelor's Degree or Masters in Engineering (preferably in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related).
• Proven work experience as a maintenance engineer.
• 3+ years of experience in Manufacturing environment and exposure to people coordination / maintenance management activities would be an asset.
• Have strong communication & interpersonal skills and have attention for detail.
• Experience with start-ups, walkdowns, piping and instrumentations, factory acceptance testing’s’’, and commissioning.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to utilize data to reach conclusions.
• Ability to review product and equipment drawings and identify areas of concern and recommend, as well as implement, changes.
• Assist in developing and defining SOPs.
• Have high level of personal responsibility and accountability for results.
• Familiarity of process designs and operation (flow diagrams, etc.).
• Understanding of safety and equipment procedures.
• Are collaborative, a team player, customer oriented and a quick learner
• Ability to work independently and within project teams
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong computer knowledge including Microsoft Office.
