Job Summary:

The System Administrator is responsible for maintaining the IT infrastructure at the Village Health Clubs & Spas located in the Phoenix Metropolitan area. Responsibilities include maintaining Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Office365, LAN/WAN networks, the data infrastructure, and the cyber security framework. This position includes various projects and road mapping activities to keep the IT infrastructure and IT services consistently aligned with the business objectives. 

Summary of Essential Job Functions:

  • Maintain the IT infrastructure by proactively identifying and solving system health issues, security vulnerabilities, and system performance issues.
  • Manage and support Microsoft Office365 (Office suite, Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive).
  • Support and maintain the Microsoft Azure hybrid deployment between Microsoft Office365 and on-premise Active Directory.
  • Manage the Microsoft Azure server infrastructure for proper configurations and balanced utilization of virtual servers, data storage/access, application services, and security policies.
  • Work with the Senior Director of IT to develop server and system security designs using cutting edge technologies and best practices.
  • Responsible for conducting vulnerability assessments and maintaining the cyber security framework.
  • Work with IT staff to provide additional helpdesk support for desktops, laptops, printers, network connectivity, and other various helpdesk issues.
  • Assists with various automation projects using the latest techniques in system automation technologies.
  • Responsible for maintaining a Meraki LAN/WAN network (firewalls, switches, and Azure VPN connectivity).
