Position:          Off-Road Account Manager
Area:               DOGA USA – Huntley, IL     
Department:    Commercial / Sales
In charge of:     Reports to Managing Director
Mission:          Provide customer service to existing customers while identifying and pursuing opportunities for account growth and new business.
Basic responsibilities:
Customer Interface Functions – 35%
  • Serve as primary business contact for the new and existing customers.
  • Responsible for customer satisfaction.
  • Consistently provide excellent customer service to new and existing customers.
  • Represent customer needs and goals within the organization to ensure quality.
  • Build relationships with new and existing customers to encourage new and repeat business opportunities.
Internal Functions – 55%
  •             Maintain a solid understanding of company policies, capabilities, and products and effectively communicate all offerings to customers.
  •             When interacting with clients, ensure that all internal and external processes and procedures are completed, quality standards are met and that sales transactions are profitable.
  •             Work closely with the Engineering and Quality areas to ensure that quality standards and customer expectations are met.
  •             Ensure that customer issues are dealt with in an efficient manner, informing the Managing Director of any problems that may arise.
  •             Prepare the contracts/quotations for new business and contract renewals for established business.
  •             Responsible for assisting the Accounting area as required in payment collections.
  •             Communicate the customer’s goals and represent the customer’s interest to internal team members.
  •             Continually identify and pursue opportunities for account growth and new business.
  •             Provide regular input to Managing Director on all account activities.
  •             Responsible for coordinating and reporting commercial tasks with Headquarters.
  •             Propose, prepare and execute business plans according to preset objectives.
  • Responsible for elaborating sales forecasts and annual sales budget.
Other – 10%
  •             Average 35% travel to customer locations, other DOGA locations, trade/industry shows and conferences and/or seminars as required.
  •             Professionally perform any other tasks required by the Managing Director and/or DOGA.
  •             Participate as a team member working closely with others in a positive environment.
  •             Be polite and courteous to clients and co-workers at all times.
Work experience requirements:  Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).  Excellent written and oral communication skills.  Skilled negotiator – strong quantitative abilities – detail oriented.  Technical competence.  Motivated, goal oriented and high level of initiative - carries out responsibilities with minimal direction. 
Education requirements:  Minimum undergraduate Degree (engineering preferred) and 5+ years of work experience in account management, sales, marketing and/or customer service.  Minimum 5 years’ experience in automobile, bus/truck or off road market preferred.
