Duties: Implement, drive, and own highly scalable and cross-browser compatible pages and front-end applications. Engage with multiple internal teams and drive future strategy of software projects. Build the best possible experiences for students as they learn how to solve math problems. Design, develop, and manage micro-services. Identify and take steps to improve performance optimization. Design and develop backend systems. Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Computer Applications, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline and four (4) years of experience in the job offered or four (4) years of experience in the field of software engineering OR Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Computer Applications, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline and six (6) years of experience in the job offered or six (6) years of progressively responsible experience in the field of software engineering.  Required Skills: (1) Java; (2) J2EE; (3) Python; (4) Spring; (5) RESTful webservices; (6) Kafka; (7) Solr; (8) MongoDB; (9) MySQL; (10) AWS.
